Meet our Head Boy and Head Girl

We have introduced a Head Boy and Head Girl this year at The Priors School. The staff in the school vote for the children who they believe uphold and demonstrate the values of the school to an excellent standard. The Head Boy and Head Girl have many responsibilities such as:

  • Writing the school article to publish in the Parish News Magazine
  • Representing the school at events such as Remembrance Day
  • Showing visitors around the school
  • Supporting the School Council to make decisions for the school

We are very excited to see how this role develops and look forward to seeing how Ellie and Ollie flourish with these responsibilities.

Ellie

Hi my name is Ellie and I am the Head Girl this year. I am proud to be the

Head Girl and I am looking forward to showing parents and visitors around the school. My favourite lesson in school is art because enjoy creating things. I have been coming to The Priors School since I was in nursery and I cannot believe that I am in Year 6 already!

The best three things about The Priors School are:

  1. The lunches are amazing!
  2. The teachers are incredible because they help you all of the time.
  3. The pupils in the school are great because they are always there for you.

I look forward to meeting you and showing you around our school.

Ollie

Hi my name is Ollie and I am the Head Boy this year. Being the Head Boy is a very important job which I will take very seriously. I felt very excited when Mr Emms said my name in the assembly and I couldn't believe it. I am looking forward to representing the school in different ways. My favourite lesson at school is maths because I like using numbers and solving problems.

The three best things about The Prior School are:

  1. The school building because it is very organised.
  2. It is a very friendly school.
  3. The behaviour in the school is very good and everybody learns a lot.

It is a great honour to be the Head Boy
