Meet our Head Boy and Head Girl

We have a Head Boy and Head Girl at The Priors School. The staff in the school vote for the children who they believe uphold and demonstrate the values of the school to an excellent standard. The Head Boy and Head Girl have many responsibilities such as:

  • Writing the school article to publish in the Parish News Magazine;
  • Representing the school at events, such as Remembrance Day;
  • Showing visitors around the school;
  • Supporting the School Council to make decisions for the school; and
  • Leading Celebration Assemblies.

We are very excited to see how this role develops and look forward to seeing how Bibi and Thomas flourish with these responsibilities.

Bibi and Thomas 1

Hi my name is Bibi and I am the Head Girl this year. I could not believe it when I was selected to be the Head Girl and I remember shaking with excitement. I like having the extra responsibility and helping out in the school, especially the Friday Assemblies. I like these because I find it fun to present everybody with their awards. I enjoy playing lots of sports, especially cricket, reading and socialising with my friends.

The three best things about The Priors School are:

1. The staff are kind and helpful;

2. The children are very friendly and get on well with each other; and

3. It is a safe place to learn.

Hi my name is Thomas and I am the Head Boy this year. I am very excited and proud to be the Head Boy. I like leading the Friday assemblies because it shows how important the role is and I enjoy celebrating the other children's successes. I like playing football, squash and hockey and playing sports is very important to me.

The three best things about The Prior School are:

  1. It is open for everyone;
  2. We have a wide range of school trips; and
  3. We have great teachers.

It is a great honour to be the Head Boy!
