Admissions Policy Consultation for 2027-2028
The Priors School is consulting on changes to its admissions policy for entry in September 2027. These changes include updates to the oversubscription criteria and are designed to bring the school into full alignment with the Warriner Multi Academy Trust’s approved policy, ensuring a consistent and transparent approach across all schools in the Trust.
Summary of Proposed Changes:
•Change to priority for children attending the school’s nursery at the time of application.
•Changes to other criteria, including definitions of siblings, staff children, and tie-break arrangements, now matched directly to the MAT’s determined admissions arrangements.
These changes aim to create greater consistency, fairness, and clarity for families across our schools, and reflect updates made to the MAT’s admissions policy since the last consultation. A comparative summary highlighting the differences between the previous policy and the proposed arrangements is available for review.
The Trust welcomes feedback from parents, carers, staff, and the wider community regarding these proposed changes before finalising the policy.
Consultation Period: Tuesday 11th November to Tuesday 6th January 2026.
