Day 2 has been a blast!

After an Ok(ish) night's sleep, we woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed for our second day of fun. Even the wet weather when we woke up couldn't dampen our spirits!

We are all a bit tired now but seem to pick up some new energy just before bedtime somehow!

The Rolling Cheeses

Much to Mr Emms' initial disappointment, we decided to do orienteering outside rather than inside and it was a great decsion! The rain cleared away quickly and we had great fun learning new skills, especially how to orientate a map! This was followed up by our challenge course which really brought out our competitive spirit.

This afternoon, we complete the high level traverse course followed by canoeing, which replaced sailing due to the high winds. We absolutely loved canoeing, but it was lots of fun putting our heads in the water and kicking our feet about. We will not mention how many times one child dropped their paddle into the lake...

Day 2!

The Raspberry Ripple Fabs

We had such a brilliant day today! Starting on the challenge course following a heavy deluge meant we got wet first thing and we absolutely loved it. Who knew children enjoyed getting wet and muddy? We then went high level traversing and we all pushed ourselves so hard and made it really high up!

We then went canoeing and played some amazing games. Somehow, for an activity where we were not meant to get too wet, we all were soaked by the end of it (but we were delighted about that!). We were actually a bit devastated when we were told we were not allowed to jump in the lake today - but apparently we have this to look forward to tomorrow!
