We also took part in book swaps, a book tasting session and lots of other fun activities throughout the day.

Week 2

This week we spent time learning and rehearsing our lines for our class assembly all about the Vikings!

Thank you to everyone who came to watch us. It was great to be able to show you what we’ve learned so far and we hope you enjoyed it.

We’ve loved learning about these vicious invaders and have been exploring their stories, myths and legends as well as their artwork and what life was like in Britain before they arrived.

Week 3

We've had yet another busy, fun-filled week in school!
It's been British Science Week and we've completed a range of activities based around this year's theme of "growth".
We have looked at what helps us to grow and have done lots of learning around food and nutrition.
We know that animals, including humans, can't produce their own food and so we've looked at how we can make sure we're getting the nutrition we need through our diet.

Week 4

What a beautiful week it's been! It really feels like Spring has finally arrived.

In Class 2, we've been busy practising our times tables and we're so proud of ourselves as we've all improved with our speed and accuracy.

This week, Year 4 have been identifying patterns within times tables and looking at common multiples and factor pairs.

Meanwhile, Year 3 have been working on the 8 times tables, including division facts.
