Week Two - 18.11.19

Class 2 have been rehearsing for their class assembly this week, we can't wait to show you tomorrow morning!

This week we have been learning about life in the workhouse and how different it was in comparison to our lives today. The children have been busy using contrasting conjunctions to write sentences about Victorian life compared to their own and have shown a fantastic understanding of how difficult life was 150 years ago!

In maths, we have been working hard on perimeter of 2d shapes (mainly rectilinear and square). The children have been solving problems using their knowledge on the topic.

We are looking forward to our trip to the Hindu Mandir on Tuesday, please remember to arrive at school at 8.30am on Tuesday morning so we can get on the bus on time!
