Mock General Election
On Thursday 7th May we will be holding our own mock General Election. The year 5&6 children have all been given a party to represent and are researching and preparing their arguments. On the day they will make a speech to the whole school, who will then go to their polling stations and cast their votes. The results will be counted and a winner will be announced. Later we will compare these results with the real election results. We hope that this will allow the children to learn about Active Citizenship, the power of debate and voting systems.
