Helpful information:
Children will need their PE Kits on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Art and Design and Technology lessons will be taught as 'Art Day' and 'DT Day' towards the end of each half term. RE lessons will also be taught in this way.
Spelling tests take place every Friday and new spellings will also be given out on Fridays. These will be in your child's spelling books. All spellings will be loaded onto Spelling Shed for the children to practise at home each week. If your child is absent on Friday and you wish to know the spellings, please find the full list of spellings on the curriculum page of our class website.
Homework diaries will be checked as regularly as possible. However, if you have an urgent message for school, please catch me on the playground, or send an email to the school office.
Reading books will be changed by the children once they have finished what they are reading. As they are now reading much longer texts, they may want/need to keep their books for longer than one week.
